The seminar “Qur’an Translation from a Translation Studies Perspective”, organised by İSLAMER, was broadcast live on the centre’s YouTube channel. In the seminar Mehmet Hakkı Suçin discussed research areas in Qur’an translation, the textual features of the Qur’an and the translation studies approaches that can be drawn on in translating it, and made proposals for Qur’an translation and its stages. After the seminar, the views put forward were discussed by a number of specialists, most of them from the field of theology. The seminar can be watched below.
