The Oujda International Book Fair “Lettres du Maghreb” returns for its 6th edition under the theme “Réinventer un monde en commun” (Reinventing a Shared World). The fair runs from 27 October to 1 November 2026. Its programme includes round tables on literature, the arts, critical thought, translation and the knowledge of the South.

On the fifth day of the fair, Mehmet Hakkı Suçin will speak on the panel “What Translation Can Create”. The panel asks: Can translation complete the world through shared creation? How does it transform literature and the reading self? The other speakers are Said Mentak and Yara El-Masry.
